Four Key Clubs Serve the Ahwatukee Community
Key Club is the high school version of the Kiwanis Club. We currently
have four key clubs in the high schools in Ahwatukee.
Each Key Club member donates a minimum of 20 community service
hours per semester. These service hours are typically done by tutoring
others or serving the homeless, or visiting assisted living communities.
Key Club members also help the Kiwanis Club of Ahwatukee with our fundraising projects.
Kiwanis volunteers attend Key Club meetings and are available for
guidance when needed. Over 100 students belong to the Horizon Honors Key
Club.
Similar to Key Club, Builders Club is in middle schools
and gives children the opportunity to serve the community.
Builders in the club help our Kiwanis Club with projects,
while we help them with their projects.
