2025 is the 49th year for the Easter Parade in Ahwatukee. It is always held on the Saturday before Easter Sunday. This annual event draws approximately 2,500 participants in the parade and 7,000+ spectators on its route between Warner and Elliot Roads on 48th Street. The set-up for the parade is very volunteer intensive. Some volunteers are used as announcers, some on the end of the parade route for disbursement of parade entries and some for tear down and clean up after the parade.
The Kiwanis Spring Fling is held at the Ahwatukee Community Park (NW Warner & 48th St) on the Saturday before Easter from 11:00am until 4pm, immediately following the Easter Parade. We expect at least 5,000 residents to visit the Spring Fling for live entertainment, bounce houses, games, Easter Egg Hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny, merchant & crafters booths including food and drink. This event utilizes a lot of volunteers all day.
